About: This was a fun project for the MarkeDiem newsletter by Investor’s Business Daily. The goal with this project was to use motion to create more engaging content, and use seasonal themes to keep the newsletters new and exciting.

Role: I designed and animated the different banners from start to finish, taking the project through the approval process.

About: These are the social videos created for Investor’s Business Daily’s launch campaign for the name change of MarketSmith to MarketSurge. The rebranding included new logo development, brand guide, color pallet and several campaigns for the name change announcement, and the launch for offer promotions.

Role: Early in the process I was a part of the rebranding process including logo design, color pallet selection and over all design aesthetics. For the videos I solely concepted and animated the logo animations and promotional content from given copy. These videos where used throughout social media and product promotions to create new brand awareness and visibility for the revamped product.

About: As part of the MarketDiem by Investor’s Business Daily branding process, there was a need for animated banners.

Role: For these banners, I contributed to the design library and helped design static banners which I then animated to help with brand visibility and customer engagement.

About: I created these icons while contributing to the MarketDiem by Investor’s Business Daily branding process. There was a list of icons needed to match the new style, color pallet and branding guidelines for the new product.

About: This animation was animated as part of the Black Friday offer for IBD Digital by Investor’s Business Daily. One of the many fun holiday campaigns.

Role: On this project I was given design assets and copy in order to create an animated version of the Black Friday offer to increase customer engagement on social media and IBD sites.

About: As part of my work flow, I took the initiative to model and create my own devices in C4D for use in the promotional videos and content. The designers at Investor’s Business Daily were using paid stock and other services in order to feature products on devices in their ads. So I wanted to create a customizable and unlimited supply of device images, for the team to use.

I used these devices extensively in my animation after creating animated and still libraries for each of them.

A fairytale project! It was wonderful making magic happen with the beautiful people at Skycar Creative and Adobe. 

This was a feature for the Adobe Mix app that showcases the work flow from mobile to desktop through Creative Cloud. 

Role: Collaborated and took direction in the concepting and production phase, then executed the Photoshop file and prepped it for set.

About: This was a fun project by Cordoba to promote the new Surfliner guitar. Their purpose was to highlight how the Surfliner boasts a combination of all of the best parts of other models.

Role: I took this project from start to finish, creating all of the illustrators and animations for this video. My goal was to convey Cordobas message and increase product awareness and brand visibility.

This is a digital painting timelapse of the Ten Of Swords from my Rider Waite Tarot deck that I illustrated. Creating my own 78 card tarot deck was a creative feat, and I wanted to showcase the digital painting skills used in order to illustrate these cards.

The Wolf is a short animation based on the original Grimm Fairytales.

Student Project- Mock bumper for a company of choice. 

About: Bond is a company that I truly respect and admire, and it was amazing to get the opportunity to do a bit of “fan work” for a school project. The assignment was to do a few second bumper promoting social media for a company of choice. Going from concepting to finished product, it was fun to research and go through the companies website to see what aspects were usable with the brand.  I ended up using the map background image of LA from the site, as a texture for the cubes.

Student Project: Redo of the title sequence for the movie Edward Scissorhands. Done in C4D, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator, with original art work.

About: This was a project for a title sequence class, which ended up being one of my favorite pieces. Not only was the choice of movie one that I felt strongly about, but the style was something that I had been wanting to try for a while. I grew up on Tim Burton movies, and the behind the scenes were they would show the story boards and concept art, inspired a lot of my style artistically. I chose to do a diorama set up for the sequence so that I could incorporate hand drawn elements in to 3D. I also wanted the chance to do several scenes from the movie, and this concept allowed me to break down the sequence in to 3 different sets, with different themes and concepts.

Short Bumper for online videos by UpGlobal 

About: UpGlobal hired me to do a bumper animation for some web videos that they are going to start posting for various conferences. It was an amazing experience to work with the company, and come up with a fun animation for their logo. The project was done quick and efficiently thanks to the fantastic communication and feedback.

About: This was just a personal project, which started off as just wanting to practice some digital painting and compositing in photoshop. I thought it would be fun to record the process time-lapse stye of how it was done.

Student Project- A short commercial for Target

About: In specific, this project was one of the first animations I did in After Effects were a majority of the animation was controlled by expressions. The instructor gave us a client, and the assignment was to come up with a short spot, promoting any aspect of the company. This was an amazing learning experience, and a project that I had a ton of fun with. Featured at the end is my adorable rabbit CeCe Pissy Pants (yes that is her full name), who so patiently let me get a few seconds of footage.

Student Project- Short promotional video for Starbucks 

About: Starbucks is such a big brand in our culture, I thought it would be fun to do a short animation for their frappuccinos. What I took away from this project, was that asset building in the storyboarding phase can be beneficial. All of my story boards for this project were fully separated assets so that they could be brought into After Effects immediately after the concept was approved. this made for fast and easy work flow through out the project.
